Bambi Childcare Services are SunSmart registered services, where we ensure that children are protected from the harmful sun as per the Sun Smart guidelines. Families and children are always encouraged and educated on the importance of protection from the sun and our Educators role model these guidelines. Upon commencement of care each child is provided with a wide brimmed hat. Bambi also provides children a UV protective, long sleeved sun shirt when attending outdoor incursions and excursions during the school holiday program in our OSHC services. Bambi ensures that sunscreen is readily available to all children across all services and encourages parents to assist their child apply sunscreen at each morning drop off.
