Nurturing little hearts since 2007
Jeff and Kelly have lived in the area for over 40 years and raised their own children in childcare environments. Since acquiring Bambi in 2007, they’ve committed to delivering the kind of care they’d want for their own kids.
In 2014, Bambi introduced an Integrated Management System (IMS 9001:2008) and built a dedicated Executive Team to ensure every part of the organisation meets high standards of quality, care, and compliance.

Nutritious meals, every day
At Bambi, we provide all meals throughout the day, including morning tea, a nutritious lunch, and afternoon tea, ensuring children receive the energy and nourishment they need to thrive, learn, and play.
Our seasonal menus are thoughtfully developed in line with the Australian Dietary Guidelines for Long Day Care and the Australian Government’s Get Up & Grow: Healthy Eating and Physical Activity for Early Childhood program. Each menu has been carefully reviewed by an accredited nutritionist to support healthy growth and development during these vital early years.
We cater to a range of dietary needs and cultural preferences, with a strong focus on fresh, wholesome ingredients. At Bambi, mealtimes are more than just eating—they’re a chance to foster healthy habits, encourage social interaction, and introduce children to a wide variety of nutritious foods in a positive, supportive environment.
SunSmart Registered Provider
At Bambi Childcare, we are proud to be a registered SunSmart provider, demonstrating our strong commitment to sun safety and the health and wellbeing of every child in our care. As part of our sun protection practices, every child enrolled at any Bambi Childcare service receives a wide-brimmed hat to ensure their face, neck, and ears are well protected during outdoor play.
Additionally, during our Vacation Care program, all children are provided with a UV-protective, long-sleeved shirt to wear on all excursions, offering an extra layer of sun safety while they explore and engage in outdoor adventures. High-quality sunscreen is always readily available, and our educators consistently model sun-safe behaviours by wearing protective clothing and applying sunscreen alongside the children.
Through daily routines and gentle guidance, we teach children the value of sun safety from an early age, helping to build lifelong habits that support healthy, active outdoor play in a safe environment.
