Nurturing beginnings for your baby
At Bambi, we specialise in caring for children aged 0 to 2 years, offering dedicated programs thoughtfully designed to support their unique developmental needs. With a flexible routine, our approach allows children to learn and develop at their own pace while building secure, trusting relationships with our nurturing educators. We provide high-quality childcare and early education in a warm, safe, and loving environment—helping each child feel confident, supported, and ready to explore the world around them.

Building independence through exploration
Our toddler (2-3 year olds) program is thoughtfully designed to nurture children as they begin developing key independence skills such as feeding themselves, toilet training, and practicing good hygiene habits. At this stage, toddlers thrive on routine, and we support their growth through a balanced blend of structured daily rhythms and engaging, creative play.
Through hands-on experiences and play-based learning, children build foundational skills in communication, emotional awareness, social interaction, and fine and gross motor development. Guided by our qualified Early Childhood Teacher, toddlers also participate in a modified fitness program that promotes physical coordination, confidence, and well-being. To keep families informed and involved, we provide regular updates, photos, and communication through the Earlyworks App, ensuring a strong connection between home and care. At Bambi, we create a warm, responsive environment where toddlers feel safe to explore, learn, and grow at their own pace.
Wombats(3–5 Years Old – School Readiness Program)
3-6 years
School readiness through play and discovery
Our Wombats Room is designed to prepare children aged 3 to 5 years for a confident and successful transition to school. Through our comprehensive School Readiness Program, children are introduced to early literacy, numeracy, science, and problem-solving in a fun, hands-on, play-based environment. These engaging experiences encourage creativity, critical thinking, social development, and independence. In addition to academic preparation, our Wombats follow a specially designed Wellbeing Program developed by our Early Childhood Teacher. This program includes daily fitness and a weekly dance session, both tailored to be developmentally appropriate for 3–4 year olds.
These activities promote physical development, coordination, self-expression, and a positive attitude toward health and movement. Children explore and grow in both indoor and outdoor learning environments that foster curiosity, resilience, and confidence. To extend learning beyond the classroom, we offer a Special Events Calendar filled with exciting excursions and incursions that help children connect with the community and the world around them. At Bambi, we are committed to nurturing the whole child—academically, socially, emotionally, and physically—laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning and wellbeing.
Bambi Out of School Hours Care
Bambi provides high-quality Before and After School Care at multiple convenient locations across Geraldton. Our OSHC services offer a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where children can unwind, socialise, and enjoy a variety of fun and meaningful activities outside of regular school hours. We offer free transport between schools and our OSHC services, ensuring that children are safely dropped off and picked up each day.
Our dedicated staff are committed to making this transition seamless, with clear routines and close supervision at every step. Families can feel confident knowing their child is well cared for, supported, and in safe hands both before and after school. At Bambi, we understand the importance of reliability, safety, and genuine care—giving parents peace of mind and children a place they look forward to each day.
Bambi vacation care
A school holiday adventure for every child
Available during government school holidays, Bambi’s Vacation Care program offers a dynamic blend of fun, engaging, and educational experiences designed in collaboration with children and families. From creative arts and crafts to active play and exciting local excursions—like visits to wildlife parks, playgrounds, and movie outings—there is always something new for children to explore and enjoy.
We provide all meals, carefully planned to align with the Australian Dietary Guidelines, ensuring children are well-nourished throughout the day. Safety is our top priority—our program follows SunSmart practices, and all children are provided with UV-protective Bambi shirts and wide-brimmed hats for outdoor excursions. At Bambi, your child will stay busy, make memories, and build lasting friendships in a safe, supportive, and fun-filled environment.

At Bambi, we provide all meals throughout the day, including morning tea, a nutritious lunch, and afternoon tea, ensuring children receive the energy and nourishment they need to thrive, learn, and play.
Our seasonal menus are thoughtfully developed in line with the Australian Dietary Guidelines for Long Day Care and the Australian Government’s Get Up & Grow: Healthy Eating and Physical Activity for Early Childhood program. Each menu has been carefully reviewed by an accredited nutritionist to support healthy growth and development during these vital early years. We cater to a range of dietary needs and cultural preferences, with a strong focus on fresh, wholesome ingredients.
At Bambi, mealtimes are more than just eating—they’re a chance to foster healthy habits, encourage social interaction, and introduce children to a wide variety of nutritious foods in a positive, supportive environment.
SunSmart Registered Provider
At Bambi Childcare, we are proud to be a registered SunSmart provider, demonstrating our strong commitment to sun safety and the health and wellbeing of every child in our care. As part of our sun protection practices, every child enrolled at any Bambi Childcare service receives a wide-brimmed hat to ensure their face, neck, and ears are well protected during outdoor play.
Additionally, during our Vacation Care program, all children are provided with a UV-protective, long-sleeved shirt to wear on all excursions, offering an extra layer of sun safety while they explore and engage in outdoor adventures. High-quality sunscreen is always readily available, and our educators consistently model sun-safe behaviours by wearing protective clothing and applying sunscreen alongside the children.
Through daily routines and gentle guidance, we teach children the value of sun safety from an early age, helping to build lifelong habits that support healthy, active outdoor play in a safe environment.
